Planned Extension to Quayside Medical Practice

Work will be ongoing from February 2018 - November 2018

During this time access to the car park will be severely curtailed and you may need to allow extra time to find a suitable parking space.

The partners apologise for any inconvenience but the situation cannot be avoided while construction work is being carried out.

NEW ARRANGEMENTS FOR CAR PARK

WE REGRET THAT WE HAVE HAD TO SECURE THE SERVICES OF A CAR PARK MANAGEMENT COMPANY FOR OUR CAR PARK.

A CAMERA IS NOW INSTALLED TO RECORD THE NUMBER PLATE OF ALL VEHICLES ENTERING THE CAR PARK.

CAR NUMBER PLATES THAT ARE NOT VALIDATED WILL RECEIVE A PARKING FINE ISSUED BY DVA.

Nurses

Nicola Moss (f)

RN, specialist interest Asthma, Diabetes.

Alan Doherty (m)

RN, RMN specialist interest Asthma, Cardiovascular, COPD.

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.

Healthcare Assistants

Amanda Hanna, Catherine Cook

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
